Japanese cheesecakes are the sixth most popular cake in the world. They’re well known and loved across Asia and the U.S., but surprisingly overlooked in Europe. We decided to change that. In June 2022, we became the first in Poland to open a patisserie in Poznań offering a full range of freshly baked Japanese cheesecakes and other Nippon-inspired treats.

We bake our Japanese cheesecakes using only a handful of top-quality ingredients sourced from regional producers. They combine the richness of traditional Polish cheesecakes with the airy lightness of French soufflés. Admired for their delicate texture and perfectly balanced sweetness, they offer a truly unique blend of flavor and lightness.

At TCB, our classic Japanese cheesecakes — like all our desserts — are baked on-site in our glass-walled patisseries at Plac Kolegiacki and Okrąglak. We serve them shortly after they come out of the oven. Their fluffy texture creates the signature “bouncy cheesecake” effect, and every bite is a gently sweet, perfectly light experience. You simply have to try it!
